Wow Life's boring
Well its been a busy weekend. I did have Friday off though for the childs track and field. She was way too excited that I was there and we had a wonderful afternoon outside on the field.
I'm gonna miss her when she goes to her dads for a month although I will still be able to see her and take her a couple of time a week.
I've worked the rest of the weekend as per usual. It was definetly weird having the day off on friday and now I'm working straight through until Thursday when I'm heading south of the border. I'm excited for the trip. I 've never been to the states before and it should be a good two days.
I'm just waiting for cowboy to get home so I can spend 5 mins with him before I have to go to bed. He'll be tired too he's been up since early this morning.
Well I'm off to get preened!

I'm getting lazy these days about posting here. Nothing seems to change much and I miss my friend Issie. She was a wonderful kick in the pants to blog so that everytime she stoppped by she would have something new to read.
Now life seems to be plateau-ing (is that a word?) and nothing much really seems to change. I go to work come home and go to bed. Exciting life really!
Fearless leader and beloved leader or just about pulling out there hair these days now the our AKM has left but I'm sure we will be fine without him They just need to come to that realisation and let people step it up. I know right now I don't seem to have the energy to deal with it all but I think I just need to get myself organised and sorted out and things will fall into place.
I miss being out in my yard and doing all the gardening and stuff. I'm going to try to save as mouch moeny as possible so that I can get myself a new house as soon as possible. I know exactly what I am looking for and this time I am going to buy a house laid out just how I want it.
Here's my TV Tuesday ramblings!
1. Do you watch infomercials? Be honest now! LOL
Actually I love watching infomercials. Quite often you just can't belive that someone is selling that product for three easy payments of 29.99
2. What's your favorite infomercial or infomercial product?
Anything that you know will be totally useless once you buy it! The best is the shopping networks clocks and trackers that show how many have been sold and how long you have left to buy!
3. Have you ever bought anything from an infomercial? If so, what was it?
No I haven't. I don't own a credit card so that makes it difficult to buy anything from the web or TV. It probably keeps me outta trouble though!
~Bonus~ What's the stupidest (most annoying, most worthless) infomercial you've ever seen?
Most of them I find just hilarious and I can'tthink of one that stand out!
Catch you all later

Well it would appear that the summer could be over! We've had almost a week of rain and on MOnday we had four thunderstorms roll through within hours of each other. We've also had a tornado in the area on Monday although cowboy informed me it only rearranged some trees on the farm. Not his farm but it was the farm of someone he knows and deals with.
We've had quite the clounds building up too and today like many others is stuffy and warm even if it is gloomy out.
Course it helps keep us busy at work because people stll want to eat steak and ribs but can't BBq in the rain so of course they come out to eat.
I might be crossing the border in a few weeks. I'm getting quite excited. I'm taking a cousin down to Montana to catch a plane. It will be the first time I've ever been to the states so I'm a little giddy 'bout it!
Well seeing as I just slept my day off away I guess I should go do something. Before I do though here is my TV Tuesday and yes I know I'm a bit hit and miss with it. I don't watch TV too much so only play when I can answer!
1. Which TV Dad would you have most liked to have for your own dad? On the flipside, who was the TV Dad you'd have least liked to have had?
The dad I think I would have wanted to have would've been Brenda and brandon's from 90210 (yes I watched it religously)
Dad I wouldn't have wanted to have hmm... probalby bill cosby but can't remember his name
2. Who do you consider the most realistic TV Dad? Who did you consider simply too good to be true?
I'm having a hard time thinking up any TV dads so I'm gonna pass on this one
3. Let's play a little Dad word association, what's the first word that comes to mind when you see the following names:
George Jetson :: Jetset
Cliff Huxtable :: Cosby
Dan Conner :: Who oh wait fridge (he's roseanne right)
Gomez Addams :: WHO??
Archie Bunker :: Isn't he in a cartoon and when did he have kids?
Jed Clampett :: Yeah who
Ward Cleaver :: This is a person
Tony Micelli :: Who the heck is this?
Ozzie Nelson :: This I don't know either
Homer Simpson :: Cool mmmm beeer!
~BONUS~ Use the letters F-A-T-H-E-R-S D-A-Y to describe your own dad!
F-ather dear your day is near
A-lthough I'm far away
T-he daughters love will never fade
H-ow could it after all you've done
E-ver there to wipe a tear
R-eponding to my whines
S-howing me my way in life
D-ad you're number 1
A-ll I wish for you today
Y-ou get just what you want
I guess it didn't really describe my dad but *muh* *shrugs
Have a great week everyone

Busy busy Me!
Yep life's getting busy again. I'm working and trying to find a second job for those spare 5 mins that I have. Also trying to tidy up the house and get things organized and sorted out for the end of the school year.
The chuckwagons were in town this weekend so we were a bit more busy than usual. Plus it rained. ALL Weekend. It drizzled abit then downpoured then rained steadilly then downpoured drizzled then rained steadily for a while.
Cowboy went out to his ranch this weekend. The cows were coming! I was toying with the idea of going out therre but I'm glad know I didn't. It rained out there as much if not more than it did here and my poor little car would never have made it. I would have been stuck out in the middle of nowhere probably with no cell reception. (how can you tell I'm a city girl!).
Tomorrows my day off. A day to clean and organise. I need to do laundry and I'm hoping at some point to organise the storage room. Could be another very productive day.
Well onto the sunrise

Coming out of mourning
I know it's been a while since I last posted. I was a little down, dejected if you will that the Flames lost. Truth is I'm not that big on hockey really but I did get caught up in the hype that surrounded it. But they lost so its over the hype is dying down. The red is slowly disappearing and things are becoming more normal.
I've hit a financial crunch this week too and my paycheques don't seem to be coming fast enough for me. I guess it's time to tighten up the old belt buckle and take a good hard look a where I'm frittering away my money. I know Walmart is stealing a LOT of my money! For some reason I can't go in there andjust spend $5-10 NOOOOOooooo. Its gotta be $25-50 ever time I go near the place. I guess I'm a sucker for a good deal and right now there's a lot to be had. I just have to remember now that I don't need to buy it just because it's on sale.
Oh well at least it's warming up out there and I can attempt to get out and about on my bike. It might save me some money that way. I think I need a lot of warm up practise though before I attempt dropping the child off at school and then heading to work. Too many hills involved in that one!
Ahh well I shall be back
Hopefully with more random nonsesical ramblings
Enjoy your day

GO FLAMES GO!!!
Wow What a game that was last night and to top it off we got a thunder storm through the middle of it. Maybe it was a sign. Here's the thunder here's the lightening this is whos gonna win tonight. We all thought the Flames had it wrapped up in the bag and I was sitting here still dressed ready to take to the streets as the rest of the city would to celebrate the Flames bringing the cup home to Alberta.
I don't live in Calgary but I do live close enough for it to be a complete sea of red around here. Most people have flags on the vehicles (most of them are trucks) and people are even decorating their houses windows you name it if you can make it red it's red.
So now onto game 7 and we neeed the cup. We want the cup. We're gonna take the cup.

WOW What a week!(or is it friday yet)
Seriously this has to have been the longest week ever for maybe the world is just slowing down. Or it could be that now I'm done being depressed and am too busy sorting my self out and getting back up to speed cos you know all those that have been around a while that doing 15 things at once is my MO.
Tuesday was back to work and fearless leader is tired and grumpy and in need of a day off which he has finally gotten. Assman is not in for a while due to some personal probs he's been having and the fallout from that. We're all picking up his shifts and working extra hard for him so its one less thing he has to worry about.
Wednesday we really pulled it together and got it fired out just amazing and hopefully today we can do the same. Yesterday I went in for a couple of hours and did the order for today and stuff like that that assman would have done. Today I feel hungover and I'm not sure why! I know I haven't been drinking and I got a good nights sleep. Maybe that the prob too much sleep.
My house looks like a bombs gone off AGAIN. I guess that's what happens when I don't spend the time in here and just keep rushing back and forth. I need to tidy up though cos cowboy is coming home tonight and I know he hates when it messy but he won't say anything.
Anyway better go start the day
Have fun you guys
Oh and I've not been watching Canadian idol. I may catch a show later on in the season but it doesn't hold the same lure as American Idol. (No Simon to gawk at)
