I WILL SURVIVE!!!!
Well I survived the weekend but only just. The dance was awesome maybe a little overwhelming being in that world for the first time and meeting so many new people. The hardest part was doing it sober but then I have a hard time being in any bar sober and add in a new situation it didn't help.
I danced with cowboy quite a few times and it was really weird dancing on a dirt floor instead of concrete or wood. A lot of the night was very surreal for me being in a huge ass barn thing that has a proper name but being a l'il city girl I don't know it! Cowboy was trying to give me directions to and from the dance and they consisted of go East or go south. I had to ask him either left or right or even just point for me cos I had NO clue which direction we were heading anyways! LOL! He got quite a chuckle outta that!
I learned that you really shouldn't try 4x4 ing in an Echo although my car handles it not too bad! I'm thinking it would've been easier and way more comfy ride in his truck! Oh well my little car has been pushed to the limits and it too has survived!
I drove home after the dance (dropped cowboy at his dads place) and was okay for the first 45 mins but the last ten were just brutal. As I got within a few blocks of home I started hallucinating and seeing bridges and buildings and people and animals that weren't really there. Why do people take drugs when you can just not sleep and get the same effect for free! I crashed for an hour when I got home then got up and went to work! I was perfectly fine. I slept for 2 hours after I got home from work and was good to go again til cowboy got home late last night.
Today however I spent most of the day in bed but then I had no pressing plans and just wanted to veg. I finally got up this afternoon and cleaned my house knowing full well that cowboy would wind up staying outta town! Yep he phoned me tonight he's staying outta town. Oh well he needs some sleep and I am still catching up from the weekend so we'll both get some sleep tonight.
Well I guess I'd better go and get myself ready for bed. Got to work tomorrow and not sure if I do or don't want to go in.

Damn trees I can't see the view (You know you're a prairie boy when)!
Yes it's early and here I am blogging away barely 5 hours since my last post. So that title is brought to you courtsey of cowboy who uttered the phrase to me on his cell as he made his way out to the local hills. He went camping with his brother and some friends and their horses. I tried explaining that ummm the trees are the view babes but he wasn't buying it! Brings a whole new meaning to can't see the trees for the forest!
Anyway I won't be on now until Monday at some point. I'm currently at this moment in time doing laundry (need a clean uniform for work) packing up the childs backpack for her weekend sleepover, having a breakfast tea, and letting the frosting reach room temp so I can finish decorating this cake for sunday. At some point between now and 7.30 I'm going to pack up and tidy my car, finish this cake, finish making the receiving blankets and wrap up the gift for the baby shower,finish packing up the child, get her up and in the car,and get myself washed and dressed!
Think I'm pushing the envelope a little?? I'm gonna be awful tired tomorrow I know that much. At 7.30 I'm heading out to drop the child at her dads then off to work with me so that I can get my stuff done and rush back here shower and purty myself up for the dance tonight. Not a big deal I have to drive an hour to get there! Then I work tomorrow and when I get off work (cos they won't let me leave early) I have to rush over to the baby shower have some fun there then come home see if cowboy got his ass up and outta bed and then maybe I can sleep and relax!
Yep gonna be a full weekend so see ya Monday if I survive the lot

Friday and the rains a-comin' down!
Yep it's raining pretty good here in the Ville in fact so hard that cowboy and his band of friends have abandoned camping a day early. He stopped in on his way through town to drop off his horse back at his dads.
Tomorrow is the dance and there is going to be 2000 people there! Thats a heck of a lot of people. I'm so nervous. I'm scared shitless if I'm honest and the whole what to wear thing is driving me nuts. the lady upstairs told me just to dress as myself because there's nothing worse than someone pretending and trying to be something there not. So thats what I am going to do. Just be myself and they can take me or leave me it's that simple.
I'm working all day tomorrow too which really bites. I'm leaving work at 4 though instead of staying longer like I usually do. That way I can get myself sorted out and maybe get some stuff done that I need to get done. This weekend I need about 15 more hours and then I will be okay I think.
I have to still decorate a cake for sunday and finish up the gift for the baby shower. I don't know when I'm goning to manage that but I'm sure I will. If I drive like a mad woman I can get there quicker and can spend a few extra minutes here getting stuff done that I need to do.
Maybe I'll just head off to bed and get up early in the morning. Hopefully I have enough hours to spare

Well thats thats then!
Well american Idol is over for another year and we shall see what the finalist get out of it this year. I have to say I preferred last years group over this one and Clay and K-Lo will always be the best out of all the Ai finalists.
I still don't care for Ruben and Kelly is good and I did buy her CD but don't think I'll buy a follow up one. I hear that Josh from last season has a CD out and that would be interesting to hear. I'm waiting to see what comes from Matt rogers. He was my favourite for this year and I was a little upsset he got booted so early. He also sang one of my most favourite songs just like clay did last year.
Well I guess I'll have to find somehing else to do on Tuesdays and Wednesdays now!

End Of A LONG LONG Weekend
Well here in the Ville it was May long this weekend and boy was it a LONG weekend for the chef.
*Cute-Ass left Friday to get some extra work in over the weekend and to go visit some with his family. They were all hollering in the background when I phoned him on Sunday!
Friday saw me back hard at it at work. Yes huge food order as per usual day sucked pretty good. Too damn busy for me to really get anything done. I really don't want to be there any more and it's becoming more and more of a "job" everyday. I've lost my enthusiasm for it along with all the crap that is going on or has been. A lot of stuff has happened behind the scenes in the restaurant and its almost like a mini soap going on.
Friday night the child went to *beloveds for a sleepover. He has been out of town all week and wanted to spend time with her. Which is nice but I'm still not sure if he's doing out of love for his daughter or if it's to score brownie points with me.
Saturday was a heck of a day at work. 11 hour day busy as heck and I really didn't want to be there. Saturday night I went to bed early. *Cute-Ass was still out of town and the child was sleeping over at Nanas.
You know I'm just gonna switch to calling him Cowboy. It's what he started out as and what he is so he's going to be Cowboy! So anyway Sunday was a 12 hour day and we got our asses handed to us on a plate and then some. It was insane busy. Welcome to the summer boys 'cods here we go. I re -made almost everything that we had already made that day and then some. Only I did it in about 2 hours. I was running around everywhere like a silly beggar!
I still didn't have the child Sunday night so after a little me pampering I crashed Harsh. I woke up at 6am the next morning looked at my alarm said what day is it?? Wait it's Monday and went back to sleep til 8.30! It was a good sleep.
I putzed around yesterday and cleaned out the child's room. It took me all day! Now all of her toys are in the toy area and her room is for sleeping in. I also did an insane amount of laundry. Everything is clean and most of it is actually put away which is a shock to all of us!
Hopefully this week I can keep things clean and tidy and turn over a new leaf. I'm hoping so. I've never been much for keeping a spotless house. Don't get me wrong my house isn't dirty just a chaotic mess that infuriates most people.
Anyway better header of to the JOB today YAY I"m so happy happy happy!
It's the AI3 finale tonight not as exciting as last year but still there we have it.

T.G.I.F Guys
Yep yep it's friday again and here I am getting ready to go to work. Its huge ass order day as we all know and I complain about every week. My arms are getting bigger again so it's almost time to go buy new t-shirts again. My legs are getting bigger too which really sucks because my pants are getting skin tight on my legs but nowhere else.
Here in the ville it's getting mighty orange and red with our local WHL and NHL hockey teams doing fantastic. WooHoo GO FLAMES GO. Its a sea of flags and shirts and posters. Almost everyone has decorated something of their and people are breaking out the paints!
So nextweekend I should get to meet some of *cute-ass's friends and his brother. In all honesty I'm terrified! I'm gonnna be like a sore thumb sticking out. The foreigner from the city! I'm already panicking about what to wear. Now THAT is something I never do. I'm not usualy that bothered by it but this time I feel I need to make a good impression.

A bit of both. Very convient to get a hold of people and when I need to let my dayhome or work know I'm running late. Annoying that people can get a hold of me whenever and whereever they want. Although the excuse I left it at home or its charging because it's dead always comes in handy.

Lobo and *Beloved* but he called for the child does that count if not then it would be my mommy!

Lobo and I had to call back beloved for the child. Otherwise it would have been my mum (mom) to tell her I was home to call me!

I love my caller ID. I know when I can just hand the phone to the child to answer it and I don't have to deal with those annoying calls anymore.

I have call waiting ID and I love it. I can decide whether to take the call or not and it's especially handy when I'm talking to my mum I know who called while we were talking.

*Cute-Ass. Don't you just love the smell of your guy? It's their special smell. I was discussing it with sunrise the one day when she was wearing her hunny sweater. It's not their cologne, aftershave or anything like that its the them smell. When *Cute-Ass is outta town I snuggle up to his pillow and its like he's there beside me. It's his smell and I love it!

Well the hangovers finally gone
It was my friends stagette on Saturday night and we had an absolute blast. A lot of her friends used to work with us and I haven't seen a lot of them since they left so it was good fun sitting around catching up with them but unfortunatly I was too drunk to remember any of it now! I also made out with the bride according to the rumours. I remeber just kissing her twice. Okay so it was on the lips but no tongues were involved (i don't think)!
I had to work first thing on Sunday morning and boy was that a GREAT day. I had a KILLER hangover but managed to work my shift. I can do my job in my sleep and have done on quite a few occassions.
L'il cutie who I'm thinking of renaming cute ass on account of his VERY cute ass was at a branding all weekend. He said he was VERY surprised on sunday when he finally got cell reception again to find he had 5 messages on his phone. All from Moi! The first 2 he understood but the last three were drunken garbled noises! I was shocked too I didn't remember leaving the messages! Heehee ;) okay only the first one and vaguely the second!
*Cute-Ass was pretty sore too from alll the calf wrestling he did. I gave him a back rub (he asked and I warned him I was useless at them) and he said I was actually quite good. He is such a nice guy
and I really like spending time with him. He outta town tonight though. He's got a meeting in the morning and is staying overnight at his dads place.
I get to work in the morning too. Yup it's that time again. All you can keep down Wednesday! hopefully it will be busier than today was. Today was snooze city but I got lots done. I did some extra cleaning and even did some of the night preps work to giver her an easy night.
So that was my day here in the bright sunshine!

Inspector Morse is my absolute favourite of all time and I had the soundtrack from the show but it melted in my car :(
2. Which song drives you crazy enough to hit mute on the remote?
I can't ever listen to the theme from murder she wrote but that is due to a nightmare I had when i was younger. I dreamt the whole theme song and then saw a murder happen and it was a very vivid dream that I can still remember to this day. Now whenever I hear the song I get flashbacks.
3. Which song are your proud to say you remember (most of) the lyrics to???

Friday night and back on the pop
Well its friday night. A long hard day at work is behind me (yes todays order was huge as always) the boxes are getting lighter my pants are getting tighter(on the legs!) and I'm enjoying my first glass of wine in I don't remember how long.
It's nice. I'm enjoying it. If some of you get strange emails sent to you in the middle of the night, I apologise in advance! I have a stagette to go to tomorrow and I shall be on the pop then. Haven't figured out where I'm leaving my car. Maybe if l'il cutie comes home he can drive me, us, whoever. I get to work sunday too! weehoo haven't done that in a while. Go to work hungover and/or still drunk. yep it's been a good few months since I've done that.
It's getting to be more and more of a chore going into work. I've lost my love for it and it's almost become a job. Time to move on I think.
I didn't do Issie's TV Tuesday this week maybe I will. Okay so here it is TV tuesday (on friday)
1. What show would you like to see brought back for an hour or two episode, to see how the characters are doing now? (This should be a show that it might be possible to do a reunion on.)
This ones hard for me because I never really watched too many sitcoms although there were a few british ones that were good but kind wound themsleves up so that you knew which direction each person was headed.
2. Pick a show that could not realistically be brought back for a reunion, because some or all of the cast members are gone. What if they could have done a reunion before it was too late? Name the show you'd most like to see.
This one again no clue really don't have one that I would love to see again
3. Which reunion show have you watched and thought "Wow, they should have left that one alone!"

I always find the behind the scenes shows way more interesting and have watched lot of those that I have know clue what the show is but love watching the interaction between the stars

Hey Issie remember when we met for the first time.
There I was standing outside Sears on the west side waiting to meet you. We said we'd meet at 11 am for some shoppping and then do lunch. I can still remember how excited I was to meet up with you. SHame neither of us realised there were two doors on that side. I remember worrying that maybe something had happened then being mad that you had stood me up. Remeber how much we laughed after over lunch when we had both returned to our cars mad at each other and just by chance struck up a conversation and then realised who we were and that we had parked next to each other. Lunch was great that day but the window shopping was even better. Especially when I dared you to model the polka dot thong bikini and you did (much to the horror of the store clerk we came out of the change room) . You dared me to try on the frilly panties and bra set and run around the store at least once. I think I made in one and a half times before the security guy showed up! You almost peed yourself laughing so hard and then we were escorted out of the mall in our regular clothes and "politely" asked to never return.
Oh the memories. I think it's almost time to disgrace another mall!! What'dya say?

Storytime!
So now issie's found a new plaything for her blog and it got me thinging about the child and her wonderful imagination. I bought a game last night at WALMART for the child called storytime and you have to make up a story as you go along.
Yesterday she told me about caterpillars. They go into a cocoon and then out of the cocoon comes....a chicken! Yep she was quite proud of that one!
It's starting to warm up a little here now. Fingers crossed that it get a lot warmer.
I'm running outta time here this morning so I'll have to finish updating tonight

Walking in a winter wonderland
Yes we are once again getting blasted by a winter snow storm and iT"S FREAKIN' MAY....someone run and tell mother nature ....mothers day is over she can get her sorry ass back to work now. The rest of us momma's did!
If any of you have seen the news we're making headlines. Right in between the Iraq abuse scandal and flashing the pics of the guy being beheaded. Yeah a major snow storm REALLY compares to those two. I actually am having a real issue with what they are showing on the news. I understand the importance that we need to know this stuff was going on and that the govenment will do something about it but do you honestly think this stuff hasn't happened before by all sides. In every conflict this happens and this is just going to wind up as a PR exercise for those in charge. I object to the pictures being shown on TV. Once was enough. The guy that got beheaded..yeah the poor guys family get to see the guy every hour on the hour and relive their nightmare as do any Iraqis that fled after the first gulf war and are now seeing their friends being beaten and pissed on by allied soldiers. Many of them that were impartial to it before and that were glad that Saddam is gone can actually now return to their homeland. You know what they're gonna go back to do now don't ya.
Well enough ranting for me it's a little too early in the morning for that! Or maybe not!

Momma's Day hangover!
Wow what a day yesterday. We got our asses handed to us on a plate yesterday at work and I was so out of it yesterday when I blogged that even though it took me three lots of logging in to make sure I was on the right page I didn't even register it until this morning when I was reading Issie's blog HREF="http://www.isabellasinspiration.blogspot.com"
Then It hit me...Hey wait a sec blogger changed yesterday!!
Heehee Good to know I was BUI (blogging under the influence!!)! So hope you guys got something good for mothers day. The child made me a flower with chores on the petals. I'm supposed to pull off a petal and she does the chore for me. She informed me that she won't do the chores anyway and I said thats okay I don't want to break the flower she made. She also got me a great Mothers day surprise yesterday morning. It rained all night saturday night and was nice and chilly yesterday morning. I went out to start my car to go to work and got the best gift! A nice wett ass! Yes she had rolled down my window the night before when she went out to grab her purse! Love her to pieces! HEEHEE.
I've decided I'm naming my new guy 'L'il Cutie' on account of him being just that! We are getting on really good and he makes me really happy and feel like a little kid again!
Well I guess that'll do me for now. I've got my mothers day tea today at school so I s'pose I should go get dressed and purtied up!

Happy Momma's Day!!
It's not momma's day in England so I didn't have to panic and worry about sending mummy a card or phoning today. Englands was in March. It's always hard to try to keep track of when it is with Canada and the states being today.
Yes before you guys ask I did have to work today. Just because I'm a momma doesn't mean I get any special treatment. I don't even have the child today. She's with her daddy. They just stopped by to pick up her swimsuit and he decided to ask me now if I wanted to do something with her for mothers day. It's 7 pm sure I want to start trying to plan something special right now!!
So happy momma's day to all you momma's that stop by and hope you all got to rest all day and got spoilt rotten by your kids.

I'm so excited and I just can't hide it!
Don't ask! For the sake of your own sanity just don't ask!! Heehee. So it would seem that only Issie (of Isabella's Inspiration fame and if I did that right you should be able to link there, is the only one visiting my blog. Either that or she is the only one brave enough to comment!
I was thinking this morning as I was reading Issies blog how much I know about some of my friends on the net and how we have connected in some ways on a more personal level than had we met in real life. It's similar to a blind person in that you have no preconcieved idea of what the other person looks like. You make them look like you want them to in your own mind. Some of my friends I have shared photos with and a few are fairly close to what I pictured. Some are totally different!
Its just so amazing that this piece of technology could bring so many together from so many different walks of life.
I've had two suggestions for my new hunny's name but I'm gonna give it a week to see if any of you *ahem* chickens *ahem* visitors to my blog feel brave enough to chime in! I'm toying with just naming him hunny or cutie. He's back outta town for a few days. Means I've got time to do my legs, my eyebrows and the good ole mustache(!) before he gets back.
I'm gonna be baking today I think. I've got the urge back again which is a good thing. I haven't baked since moving in here and since I started on my meds. Now I'm feeling better and getting the urge to do more. I don't feel guilty for trying to have a clean house anymore and don't feel that I have to keep it a mess. I'm getting more organised and hopefully will be more focused on me and my life and the child
The child is doing much better at school now. We ended up putting her on meds for ADD/ADHD but only during school hours. The first day she zoned right out and that was scary. You have to understand my child has the energy level of approx 10 energizer bunnies .......on speed! So for her to not be bouncing along beside me as we walked to the car and for her to just climb in and sit down was seriously weird. I wanted to shake her and yell at her to do something. For all the times I've said I would love for5 mins to have a child that would just sit and do nothing.....I take it back. I couldn't deal with it. It drove me nuts waiting for her to do something! Luckily it was a temporary thing and now we are back to normal by the time I pick her up. Now I appreciate her endless energy and enthusiam for life. The times its over the top.....we take a time out re-group and off we go again.
We both have an over the top personality which is leading to some clashes between us but most days we get along just fine......and THAT makes me happy.
This has turned into a longer post than I anticipated and it's a bit deep for this time of the morning but for some reason I'm in that kinda mood today. *note to self:try to add those funky emotion thingys today!
I can't wait til tonight to read my horoscope to see what it says. I always read them at the end of the day to see how close it was! For the month of April it was off by one day quite literally. The day after matched the day before. I will be interesting this month to see if they're on track with me!

All you can keep down Wednesday!
It's all you can eat rib day at work today. Thats means I'll be cooking 180 racks of ribs well smoking them to be exact. It also means tonight when I come home I'll be smelling like a campfire!
What other news is there well those of you that have been around for a while know that me and *beloved* seperated a while ago. We still talk to each other and it's still amicable but we have the child so it needs to be. Well...... I got me a new hunny. Not sure what to call him on here yet because I kinda want to keep him fairly anon while still blogging about him.

It raining here today woohooo. We've not had much rain lately and its coming down quite nicely today.
The big boss is coming down on Thursday so today will be a huge ass cleaning and purtying up day to make sure it's perfect for him coming down. We all know its cheating but muh *shrugs*

What a crappy weekend / I love my job I love my job!
Wow to say this weekend blew goats is an understatement. It started off all fine and dandy on friday but Staurday dissolved into a gong show and yesterday was just a total right off.
On the plus side it was a beautiful day out yesterday (probably why I didn't want to work). I'm tired this morning but know I need to do stuff but blah! Maybe I'll go lay in bed for a bit and the I'll feel better later on.
