It's Oscar night
Yep tonight is oscar night and I really am not all that bothered this year. The child was supposed to be having a sleepover at daddy's house tonight but decided she needed to come home to feed her fish. Well she fed them and then petted them and took them out of the tank again. The poor things are scared out of their wits. She was also kissing her fish again.
It was a busy day at work again today although we were done early in prep. Thats thanks to the fact that I did the counts yesterday and made sure we did a little extra. It worked out good though. I did some extra cleaning too today. I bleached the grout in the tiles on the back wall. Don't ask why it was disgustly dirty and its been bugging me for a while.
I'm still not sleeping good. Friday night I was up at midnight after sleeping for four hours straight. Last night I was up at 2, 3, 4, 5 and then I got up at 6 to get ready for work. I don't know how I'm still functioning on so little sleep but I seem to be managing for now.
The child and I have been going to a counselling group for Kids to help them deal with seperation and divorce. It's kind of weird because the child will keep suddenly out of the blue come out with a comment and it throws you sidewards. Yesterday morning she casually mentioned that daddy was looking for a new girlfriend and he had to pick the best one. Then she added he didn't want me to know because I might not let him! Tonight she asked if she had a step-dad! The other day she told me I was sad. When I asked her why I was sad she said " huh because you're getting a divorce" Like it was the most obvious thing in the world. She's six with the attitude of a twenty year old.
Last night I cut her hair and her nails. The hair she was okay with but for some reason cutting her nails made her freakout and you would have thought it was THE most devastating thing to ever happen to her. She was screaming and crying that her nails were gone. I've never known her to do that before. She just went off the wall!
Well I'd better go get her stuff ready she has decided that she is going for a sleepover at daddy's afterall.

What a week!
Well it's been quite the week. The childs fish are still alive which is quite surprising really although after tonight they may not be. She has been taking them out of the tank with a barbie baby carrier and petting them. She also kissed her 'cleaner' fish. She was sticking her arm in the tank and catching them! I'm pretty sure the poor things are going to go into shock but we will see.
In other news its been a bit quiet around here. The child had a sleepover last night with her nana and tomorrow night at daddy's. Its really weird that I've gone from her being constantly with me to her being gone quite often. I feel quite lost. Before the seperation we went everywhere together all the time. She was at home with me every night and if I wanted to go somewhere I had to take her with me. Now I find myself with lots of freetime without her and it's quite an adjustment.
Well she is here tonight and she's out of the bath now so I will update later.

So I missed a few!
I missed a few days here and I apologise. It seems the chef's personal life is once again crashing down around my ears and needing some attention.
The child finally spent her birthday money. She bought a fish. Well 3 fish to be exact and a fish tank to hold them all. She was quite excited about it and we went to look at all the pet stores to find the best deal. All the way home she was talking to her fish telling them that we were almost home just hang on its okay. She was holding them on her lap! The fish are named Nemo Marlin and pinky! Not sure why pinky because they are all grey! The fish may not survive too long though as she keeps feeding them under the impression that they need a snack!
I'm hoping to get my house tidied up today and I'm doing laundry and tiding up as I blog today so you'll have to forgive my if it doesn't flow too good! I've gotten really bad just lately with the tidy house thing. Maybe it was my fault our house always looked like a bomb went off. Oh well this is my own house now.
Tuesday we had a great group on american idol. I really liked Latoya and as we found out last night she is through. Amy adams was a forgone conclusion she has such a huge fan base already although she reminds me of someone and I'm not sure I can handle watching her week after week.
The suns still out here and the snow is all melting which gives me hope that I can find my keys buried somewhere out in that snow. I'm getting the urge to plant things too and although I don't have a garden (I'm in a basement suite) I thing I may put some comtainers outside my door and see what we can grow.
Well I'm done blogging for today I think I'm going to go clean up and enjoy the sun

A beautiful Sunny Day
It's a beautiful sunny day here in the ville and I'm had lots of sleep. I'm happy the sun is shining and everyone is smiling.
I went out for a while last night for a friends birthday and he boyfriend had proposed over supper so Congrats to her and her fiance. They are having a baby too so she was just a glowing last night. I'm so happy for them. They've been together for a long time and had discussed getting married and knew it would happen eventually but they were in no rush. SHe was a little shocked and surprised though by the timing. We made her do shots to celebrate! Shots of grenadine and water! She wouldn't do milk shots! It was nice to sit and visit with her and another friend who was out with her boyfriend. I'm glad she found him he seems like a really nice guy and they go well together. We're all a little crazy so we all had a good time.
I have a day off today which I need after yesterday. It was crazy insane yesterday at work. I worked my ass off to get all the prep done so I could go on line over lunch. Then I ran my ass of over lunch as we did supper sales only with two less people. It didn't even slow until 3pm yesterday usually it starts to slow at 2. Then we had to re-stock and I went back into prep to re-do half the stuff I had made that morning. I love it. I get a total buzz from us being that busy it just hurts the day after. It's almost like a hangover! So yeah yesterday I did a 10 hour day so my boss can shove that you know where seeing as he thinks I don't put enough hours in. He's just whiny though.
On saturday he was bugging me all day because I was late for work so I got harrassed by him about everything. It's all in fun, so he says. I got lettuce and fettucine thrown at me even though we are not allowed to throw food! I had a good chat with the guy that I was working with. He's almost 18 but having girlfriend problems so we had a good chat while we were working and it was nice to try to help him out. He's a really nice guy and I feel bad for him that his girlfriend is treating him bad. Hopefully for his sake it all gets sorted out.
I really should be tidying my house today but I just don't have the urge to do it. I was going to do it last night when I got home but then I thought the neighbours might get a bit upset with that!
I think I'm going to get dressed and open up my windows and let some fresh spring air in. Maybe that will get me motivated! You never know.

Good Morning!
Well good morning to you all. I'm over my mood of yesterday I think although right now my neighbours probably aren't too happy with me. It's 7 am and I put the washer on. I need my uniform for work this morning and they were using it yesterday so I didn't have much choice did I. Oh well it's the second time this week I've done it to them too. I'm not a nice person am I?
Also I got a notice from the bylaw officer to remove the snow and ice from the side walk in front of the driveway. That would be the driveway to the garage that I am supposed to have access to but don't because my one nieghbour is always parked right in front of it. So I get told to remove the packed down snow and ice that she packed down with her truck. I think they ended up going out there and doing it in the end though. Haha serves them right.
I get to work today and I'm expecting a busy day. We'll see how it pans out. *Beloved * has the child all day and there is starting to be some friction here now with the seperation and things that are being said. It may all come to a head soon. So far it's been mostly amicable and lots of crying but now it's starting to get a bit nasty. The comments are getting back to me and I'm not too happy about it. I really need to cut the ties as much as possible for everyone sake.
Well thats about all the ranting and raving for this morning. I will check in later and let you know how the day went!

Yay? It's Friday?!
So as the rest of the world runs around screaming TGIF yay it's friday I'm left wondering what all the fuss is about. Yes it's friday so what.
What do fridays mean to me? Fridays mean a big ass food order to put away (by myself all 5'nothing of me) Running my ass off to get all the prep done so I can leave at a decent hour (and yes I always work at LEAST 8 usually 9 hours on a friday) get no break all day (so no food and if I manage to grab a tea I'm lucky). So yeah for all you other people out there. YAY ITS FRIDAY. Can you hear the sarcasm?
Sorry I'm busy having a pity party over here by myself. I would love to have a drink tonight but the fact that I'm heavily medicated means that is a no-go. So instead I'm drinking cup after cup of tea trying to stay awake although I did have an hour long power nap.
I get to work tomorrow which is not such a bad thing as my two favorite guys are working too. Its sure to be a busy day tomorrow so another day of running my ass off but I'm getting used to it by now. I just need to get the sleep working now. The nocturnatal waking is driving me nuts. I'm up for a couple of hours in the middle of the night most nights. Maybe I should start blogging then!

Kick me when I'm down
So Isabella thinks I'm too happy! Well after re reading the comments I left her last night I'm surprised that i wasn't drunk. I definetly sounded it. Maybe it was down to watching perky and his little waggy tail bouncing around my TV set. No? Maybe not. I now I was up way too late last night for reasons I shall keep to myself and had WAY too many cups of tea. (Too much cafiene=no sleep+too much pep!) So now I'm up this morning blogging away to myself and wondering what today will bring. I'm at work today so it should be a busy day. I know we sold lots of ribs yesterday (it was all you can eat rib day) so I will definetly be cooking more ribs.
The child comes home tonight and honestly I have missed her. I missed her not going to bed on time. Her having to come tuck me in long after I've tucked her in and thought she went to sleep. I also missed her three hour long bath will the constant top up of hot water. Well she'll be back tonight and I'm excited to pick her up after work today.
Well I suppose I should go get myself some breakfast and yes it's time for a second cup of tea.
Time to get my ass in gear.

Well I slept good
I wonder how many of last nights 'finalists' slept good? If it was me I would have been up all night berating myself for being so crappy. But thats just me. I only sing in my car when I'm alone and with the music cranked up so I can't hear myself.
Its back to work this morning after having two days off. I never usually have two days off in a row and honestly I hate it. Bring back my split days off. I've just spent two days in bed being unmotivated to do anything else and my back is hurting already and I have the food order to put away today. I haven't even washed my uniform for today. I'm waiting a while for my neighbours to wake up before I put the washer on. Don't want to piss them off. he guy upstair was doing his laundry last night until 10 so unfortunatly I gotta do mine this morning. Yes I realise I had two days to do it but I was busy laying in bed!
It's going to be a busy day at work today. We've been closed for two days (why I had two days off!) for re-furbishments. All the floors,walls, ceilings and wood in the restaurant have been sanded done and re-varnished and painted. As a result the kitchen was torn apart to protect the food from the smells and dust. Should be fun this morning putting it all back togeter again.
Well my neighbours should be up now. I put the washer on anyways. They make enough noise late at night somedays.
Well time to go get dressed

Thanks for dressing up for the occasion and hunny wtf happened you were my favorite but it was sleep ville tonight. Blah blar zzzzzzzzzzzzz.....zzzzzzzzz.....zzzzzzzzz. Oh Simons talking hi hunny. Oh look now we get to see perky again. Is it me or has perky put on weight.His face looks fatter or maybe its just his hair is thinner I don't know his mouth is bigger I know that much. So my Matty let me down tonight. The most enjoyable parts tonight:
Eating a choc chip bagel, drinking 3 cups of tea and sharing my horror with lobo whilst listening to mr Lobo dieing with laughter (including the thump when he fell of the couch!)
Who do I think is going through? Camille and marisa. Thats my predictions and I'm not sure I want to sit through tomorrow nights show. Lets hope this is the group that sucks and next weeks are Sssooooooo much better

BACK WITH A VENEGENCE!
Yes I'm back and I realize it was a long time that I was gone. First up I had my trip to england for my brothers wedding which was a beautiful affair. I love my new sister-in-law. She's great fun and keeps my brother in line. Plus he just adores her too.
I spent Christmas there too and it was nice and relaxing. No rushing around to 50 billion relatives everyone came to see us. It was nice to sit and visit with my family. New years in England was amazing. I stayed home due to the snow they had but watching the fireworks go off through the snow was magical.
I finally got back to Canada mid January just in time for my birthday. The co-workers pie-d me 3 times (fun stuff!) and then we had our pictures taken for our local newspaper. Our store was honoured with employer of the month by a local group that find work space for mental challenged people. We have a guy with downs that works with us. so yes I'm famous now (yeah right) I've had my picture in the paper.
*Beloved* and I have split and I'm now in my own place. It's taking a while to get sorted but finally I back on the web and I've got cable now too.
I realise I've lost my shoutouts and I will be hopefully figuring out how to change them over to the new system so you guys can leave me messages again. Until then you'll just have to email me!
